ROOTED IN HER
She listens to the wind,
She flows with the waters,
She feels the soil of the earth.
Beneath her stands, a forest -
wild, loving, ancient, dearest.
And women that came before her,
left songs in rivers that still wonder,
their laughter braided into the breeze,
their sorrows, tucked away in the trees,
they whisper truths in the morning light,
their secrets, folded in petals tight,
a wisdom deep, a sacred beat,
that rises from the earth beneath.
She is no longer searching -
she is remembering and
reclaiming what's
rooted
in her

MOTHER NATURE'S DAUGHTERS
Winner: Life Framer + Photopolis Festival
“Rooted in Her” is not just about women — it is about all of us returning to what is ancient, intuitive, and alive. These figures are not portraits, but embodiments of something deeper: the pulse beneath the surface, the silence before the storm, the breath of the earth as it rises through us.

WOMEN + HORSE
Exhibted at the Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello during the 60th Venice Biennale
My piece ‘Women + Horse’ exhibted at the Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello during the 60th Venice Biennale June 7th - 21st 2024.
I wanted to capture the loving intertwined human-equine connection. I am happiest around horses and believe many people feel the same.
When we both wear the saddle, the world feels more fair.
The model’s corset, repurposed from an equestrian saddle by award-winning British designer Eva Clarkson, is an important part of the story. It’s a visual encouragement to sustainably stride into the future while respecting the threads of our past.

MY LOVE
By looking after ourselves, we look after the Earth,
By looking after the Earth, we look after ourselves.
Our roots grow,
in the dark we sow.
Underneath we breathe,
to reach the rays & see the sunrise.
